Sr.Database Administrator (SQL) with State exp (Remote -local to Austin, or Texas only)

Job title: Senior Database Administrator (SQL Server) Location: Austin, TX (Remote- Local to Texas only) Duration: Long term Client: 5081725DBAdmin2 Scope/Description of Services The Worker(s) will provide the following services: Perform database programming to modernize legacy programs for various projects. Develop simple and complex Structured Query Language (SQL) scripts for data migration and validation. Perform data profiling and analysis. Develop technical documentation including source to target mapping. Develop database code (triggers and stored procedures) for data entry and reporting. Support compliance with acceptable best practices for Data Management and Governance standards. Ensure appropriate configuration and administration of TWC technical environments. Perform unit and system testing of database code. Ensure appropriate configuration and administration of TWC technical environments. Provide troubleshooting assistance during development, test, and implementation as well as during post-implementation support. Coordinate activities (including setting up meetings, documenting notes, following up on action items) and deliverables across all areas. Perform other duties as assigned to maintain operations. Required skills: • 7 years of Working knowledge of SQL scripting and data batch processing in legacy and current technology • 7 years of Developing data conversion maps • 5-7 years of Executing data conversions for large volumes of data • 5-7 years of Implementing database coding standards • 7 years of ETL Development experience using a tool like SSIS or Informatica • 7 years of Skill in solving problems, in scheduling, testing, installing, and implementing data conversion projects/programs • 7 years of Data conversion and migration for enterprise level projects • 5-7 years of Developing Database conceptual, logical and physical database design models to include data dictionary and library • 7 years of Strong SQL Server physical database development experience (functions, stored procedures, triggers) • 7 years of Strong knowledge of MS SQL Server, Oracle PL/SQL, Azure SQL managed instances, and any other database management technologies • 5-7 years of Knowledge of Microsoft Azure Platform Services, and Cloud Service delivery models • 7 years of Knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) principles, practices and techniques of application programming and software design • 4-7 years of Strong skills in performing data analysis and ensuring data quality • 5-7 years of Collibra, Informatica • 4-7 years of Jira/Confluence/ALM Octane Apply Job!
