Project Manager - Oracle ERP Implementation (East Coast - Remote)

Project Manager Oracle ERP implementation (East Coast Remote) We are looking for a project manager for a global B2B technology company. This role is responsible for developing and executing cutover activities within one of the organizations' top strategic initiatives. Work with Oracle Cloud Applications Solution delivery and boundary Systems teams to prepare a list of Cutover tasks. This is a 12-month contract (extensions likely), 40 hr/week remote role on the East Coast of the USA. This is a W2 role as a Stage 4 Solutions employee. Health benefits and 401K are offered. Responsibilities: • Prepare a detailed cutover plan, with activities, dependencies between activities, resources, and timelines required for transitioning towards SIT, UAT and Production environments. • Coordinate with Solution delivery teams to optimize the time needed for Cutover activities. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, business units, external suppliers, customers, and Partners, to ensure alignment on cutover activities and Business & IT readiness. • Work with data conversion teams, ensuring data migration activities have been optimized and can be completed as per the Cutover Plan. • Work with Business teams to develop interim processes so that business can operate with minimal disruptions during the Cutover period. • Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with cutover activities, including data migration, Change Management, Security & Controls, system outages, and system administration issues. • Ensure teams practice Cutover during SIT, UAT and Rehearsal phases. • Work with the Corporate Communications team and act as the main point of contact for all cutover-related communications, keeping stakeholders informed of timelines, activities, and any issues or changes. • Provide status updates to Stakeholders and ensure Cutover activities align with the Program Schedule. • Develop and maintain contingency plans for critical cutover activities, preparing for potential delays, rollbacks, or system issues. • Oversee post-cutover stabilization activities, ensuring any issues are addressed quickly and that end-users have the support they need. • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all cutover activities, including step-by-step procedures, roles and responsibilities, and lessons learned. • After the cutover, conduct a post-mortem review and implement best practices for future deployments or quarterly updates. Requirements: • Project Management experience in managing at least three Oracle ERP implementation projects. • Proven experience managing cutover activities for large-scale ERP projects. • Prior experience as Oracle ERP functional or Technical lead in implementing Oracle ERP modules (Finance, Supply Chain). • Experience in Data Migration, Change Management, Security & Controls and Hypercare activities. • Experience with SmartSheet, JIRA, and MS Project. • Familiarity with project management approaches tools, and phases of the project lifecycle. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), email, and voicemail. Experience with MS Project, Visio, and graphics programs preferred.
