Mutual of Omaha is hiring multiple interns for our IS department starting this summer! To be considered for this role, you must be a current Avenue Scholar student entering their senior year of high school and in good standing. WHAT YOU'LL DO: • Receive on-the-job training in Enterprise Architecture. • Develop knowledge and familiarity with computer systems, programs, hardware, and/or languages to obtain valuable experience and exposure to current technologies. Technologies may include: languages, databases, online platforms, e-commerce activity, information security, and/or enterprise resource planning. • Observe the Information Services (I/S) team and becomes familiar with its environment. • Assist with projects and complete routine work assignments as directed by management. WHAT YOU'LL BRING: • Current Avenue Scholar student entering their senior year of high school and in good standing. • Knowledge of and ability to use various software applications on a personal computer including word processing, spreadsheet, and database applications. • Willingness and motivation to learn new technology and skills. • Ability to analyze material and exercise good judgement, be flexible. • You promote a culture of diversity and inclusion, value different ideas and opinions, and listen courageously, remaining curious in all that you do. • Able to work remotely with access to a high-speed internet connection and located in the United States or Puerto Rico.
