Part-Time Proposal Writer (Government Contracts) – Remote (U.S. Based Only)

About Us: The CoBuilders is a nationwide leader in residential and facilities maintenance services, specializing in government and commercial contracts. We are seeking a highly skilled Proposal Writer to support our business development efforts by preparing compelling and compliant proposals for federal, state, and local government contracts. Position: Part-Time Proposal Writer Location: Remote (U.S.-Based Candidates Preferred) Hours: 10 hours per week (40 hours per month) Employment Type: W2, Part-Time Responsibilities: • Research and respond to RFPs, RFIs, RFQs, and IDIQ contracts in the facilities maintenance and janitorial services sector. • Develop well-structured, persuasive, and compliant proposals aligned with solicitation requirements. • Collaborate with business development, subject matter experts, and leadership to refine proposal strategies. • Ensure proposals meet compliance, formatting, and submission deadlines. • Stay up to date with government procurement trends and best practices. • Represent The CoBuilders at pre-bid meetings, when required. • Manage physical submission of proposals by mail, ensuring all documents meet government agency standards. • Respond to questions and clarifications regarding submitted proposals. Requirements: • Proven experience in proposal writing for government contracts (federal, state, or local). • Strong knowledge of federal acquisition regulations (FAR) and procurement processes. • Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills. • Ability to work independently while meeting deadlines. • Experience with GSA schedules, IDIQs, BPAs, and GWACs is a plus. • Ability to attend pre-bid meetings (virtually or in person, as required). • Comfortable handling proposal submissions by mail if necessary. • U.S. Citizenship or authorization to work in the U.S. preferred.
