Manager - Engine and Transmission Controls - Simulation & Test Automation Team
The Vehicle Mechatronic Embedded Controls (VMEC) team within GM’s Software and Services organization is responsible for developing, deploying, and releasing control software and calibrations that truly control the whole vehicle. Be it internal combustion engines, hybridized drive units & transmissions, high voltage batteries, or body, chassis & thermal management, the exciting challenge of inventing new methods to control the world’s best mechatronic systems is never ending. This Manager - Engine and Transmission Controls - Simulation & Test Automation Team is to lead a team of engineers responsible to develop new or more efficient methods or processes for use by our VMEC Engine Transmission Controls team while embracing an innovative forward-looking mindset. This team works cross functionally with systems, calibration, VDDV, TEXIL, Lab Operations teams to improve the speed, capability and capacity of VMEC teams. #EVerybodyIn. #IWorkForGM Job Responsibilities: Enable self-organizing, self-managing teams to deliver efficiency gains to lead to on-time product delivery with quality executions in an agile environment
