Preparation & prosecution of patents, opinions, portfolio management, due diligence, PTAB work, client counseing. High profile clients and sophisticated work with the opportunity to support patent attorneys on other legal issues. You will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of hardware and software applications (industrial and consumer electronics, analog and digital circuits, chip architecture, wireless telecommunications, enterprise applications, network security, network protocols, databases, web and cloud services, operating systems, software user interfaces, open source, etc.). Client assignment and workload will be dependent upon your technical expertise (i.e., software vs. hardware, etc.). Requirements:
- Minimum BS Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, or Computer Science;
- JD, state bar, patent bar;
- Must have at least 2 years of full time claim drafting experience.
