About the position Lockheed Martin Aeronautics is seeking an Early Career Software Engineer to work on the F-35 Mission Planning Environment (MPE) software development life cycle. This role involves collaborating with a team to build and deliver mission planning software that is critical to the success of the F-35 missions. The position requires coding experience and the ability to develop and debug software, with a focus on Agile methodologies. Responsibilities Develop and deliver F-35 MPE software through the software development life cycle. , Collaborate with team members to gather requirements and implement solutions. , Test and debug software to ensure functionality and performance. , Participate in Agile/Scrum processes to enhance team productivity. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field from an accredited college, or equivalent experience. , Software development experience. , Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies. Nice-to-haves C# programming experience. , Experience with React and TypeScript. , Knowledge of Object Oriented Programming principles. , Familiarity with CI tools such as Jira, Bitbucket, Jenkins, and GitLab. , Strong teamwork and leadership skills.
