CAD Designer
Job Title: CAD Designer Job Overview: Selectek has a contract-to-hire opportunity in Greenwood Village, CO for a skilled CAD Designer to join our team and provide design documentation for commercial and hospitality projects. The successful candidate will collaborate with designers and engineers across various disciplines, including architecture, MEP, and interior design. Job Responsibilities: - Provide designs for audiovisual, security, and telecommunications systems. - Create accurate drawings from engineer markups. - Develop shop drawings and as-built drawings from field markups. - Assist Project Managers with Programming efforts, creation of SDs, DDs, CDs, and Punch List assistance. - Gain proficiency in understanding our companys products, services, and processes across various business silos such as Access Control & Surveillance, Sound Masking, Structured Cabling, and VoIP Wired and Wireless Networking Solutions. - Meet with clients to introduce additional services and identify opportunities to support their technology initiatives. - Attend construction site meetings and document construction progress. - Understand Master Specification Format and assist in writing and editing specifications. Required Qualifications: - 3+ years of experience in design production. - Familiarity with electrical systems, Audio/Visual systems, structured cabling, networks, CCTV, access control, and intrusion detection. - Working knowledge of AutoCAD. - Proficiency using Revit/BIM360. - Experience with Bluebeam is a plus. - Attention to detail, professional demeanor, and a thorough and logical approach to work.
