Software QA Engineering - IBM Cloud Networking

Introduction IBM Cloud Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) is looking for a passionate and skilled Software QA Engineer to join our Network Overlay team. Your role and responsibilities QA/Automation engineer with 10-15 years of experience. In this role , you will develop , execute & automate Test plans for Networking features in IBM Cloud using Python/Pytest/APIs/Terraform This role will involve working closely with experienced development engineers to identify the software defects early in the cycle You will directly contribute by testing/automating the features requested by end-customers You will take part in test infrastructure enhancements Understand various use-cases in Cloud Networking & implement/enhance existing test suites Directly involve in recreating customer issues from production network & automate the same. Required education Bachelor's Degree Preferred education Master's Degree Required technical and professional expertise QA/Automation engineer with 10-15 years of experience. Must have solid understanding of basic networking concepts Must be proficient in one programming language (C / C++ / Python / Go ) Must be well versed in Linux networking (Open source test tools, TCPdump , iPerf) , Virtualization. Preferred technical and professional experience Working experience in Public Cloud with VPC infrastructure & Baremetal is a plus Automation Infrastructure development / Full stack experience is a plus CI/CD pipelineing and tooling experience is a plus Container orchestration (Openshift / Kubernetes Cluster) experience is desiarable.
