Overview
The Data & Analytics team builds internal analytic partnerships, strengthening focus on the health of the business, portfolio and revenue optimization opportunities, initiative tracking, new product development and Go-To Market strategies. We are a hands-on global team providing scalable end-to-end data solutions. Working closely with the business, we influence decisions across Mastercard through data driven insights. We are a team on analytics engineers, data architects, BI developers, data analysts and data scientists, and fully manage our own data assets and solutions. The Data & Analytics team is looking for an experienced Director, Product Management to drive the strategic initiative to create a SSOT data platform for all transactional data assets within the organization. The ideal candidate is highly motivated, intellectually curious, analytical, and possesses an entrepreneurial mindset. Role & Responsibilities Product Management of large and strategic data programs Support the execution of our strategic ADP initiative spanning multiple years, multiple stakeholders, geographies and multiple delivery and support partners. Build and maintain holistic views of the program/ portfolio that present both strategic as well current state. Leverage insights to influence priorities and roadmap feature development while advocating for and driving alignment between stakeholders in the development of acceptance criteria Own and prioritize the near-term product roadmap to deliver on business outcomes, quickly identifying points of leverage in complex problems or systems and utilizing data effectively to define success metrics and measurable outcomes. Collaborate across Product, Engineering, Architecture, Business Operations, Technology Operations, and other teams to ensure a single view of the program/ portfolio across the teams. Develop presentations meant for Senior and Executive Leadership level consumption, example- business cases, program overviews, roadmaps, strategic communications, strategic objectives and results etc. Operates between teams overseeing the gaps between teams, processes, and systems, while removing all blocking issues leading to a program outcome Work with vendors, partners and external 3rd party teams to drive results, make presentations, review scope, timelines etc. Act as a utility player who can work with equal eloquence with the teams on the ground as well as senior level stakeholders. Introduce leading indicators/ metrics that can predict outcomes of the program while enabling management decisions through program insights and key performance metrics. Engage with team members by creating a motivating work environment that recognizes, holds team members accountable, and rewards strong performance. Support the assignment of clear tasks and objectives and establish performance indicators for monitoring results versus objectives. All About You Intellectually curious. You ask why, you explore, you are not afraid to share your ideas or follow through for weeks to find someone with an answer Experience playing a product role with exposure to data warehousing, analytics engineering, BI and experience managing large scale programs. Must have ability to communicate in detail with the technology teams as well as at a strategic level with the senior stakeholders. Must have prior experience building, implementing, and tracking plans for large and complex programs that span multi-year, multiple geographies and have multiple delivery and support partners. Must be able to think strategically and anticipate future consequences and trends and incorporate them into the organizational plans. Experience building strategic roadmaps for the programs to achieve their objectives. Excellent presentation and communication skills. Must have been responsible for delivery and engineering in the past and hence must come from a technology background. Must have great negotiation skills that help arrive at solutions with various competing stakeholders/ teams. Should be able to analyze trends, data and reports to come up with compelling solutions to complex problems. Must be able to identify, assess, track, and mitigate issues and risks at multiple levels. Experience managing complex cross-functional projects. Experience delivering presentations and engaging with senior leadership. Education Bachelors or Masters Degree in a Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, M.S./M.B.A. preferred Additional Competencies Excellent English, quantitative, technical, and communication (oral/written) skills. Compensation
Pay Range 170,000.00 - 273,000.00 USD Annual Apply Job!
