Graphic Designer
Description The Graphic Designer position will be primarily responsible for digital and print design, product photography, as well as some video editing and packaging design. Additionally, this position will also entail contribution to ad campaign development, planning, and execution. This position will be highly focused on quality content creation for the purpose of consumer engagement and growing brand awareness. Essential Skills: ? Adobe Suite knowledge, primarily in Photoshop and Illustrator (working knowledge of Adobe Premier and/or After Effects is a plus) ? Strong understanding of design principles, typography, color theory and layout techniques ? Knowledge or desire to learn basic product photography and image editing workflows ? Basic knowledge of WordPress as well as html/CSS is a plus ? Attention to detail ? Creativity and ability to think outside the box. ? Interpersonal skill
Requirements
Essential Duties: ? Photography and photo editing ? Landing page design within WordPress page builders ? Social media content creation ? Social media management ? Packaging design changes and new product packaging design ? Ad design ? Video editing ? Marketing email design and management ? Some assistance in product development Qualifications: ? AS/BA in graphic design/related field or equivalent professional experience. ? Demonstrated experience in graphic design for CPG type products ? Complete support of and willing adherence to Westfield Egg Farm?s mission, vision, and core values. Applicant must hold these standards as his/her own. Language and Mathematical Skills: ? Ability to read and write in English. ? The ability to interpret documents such as standard operating procedure manuals. ? Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. ? Ability to speak effectively before groups of employees. ? Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra using Excel sheets. Personal Attributes: At times this position will entail knowledge of privileged information that should not be shared. Physical Requirements / Environmental Conditions: This position requires the ability to sit or stand at a desk for extended periods of time, carry and work with heavy camera and lighting equipment, as well as visiting farms for purposes of obtaining farm photography and video.
