Remote Bookkeeper / Accountant
VirtueStaff is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Remote Bookkeeper / Accountant to join our dedicated financial team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting regulations. The ideal candidate possesses a solid understanding of accounting principles and has a proven track record in bookkeeping or accounting, with the ability to work effectively in a remote environment. Responsibilities Maintain and update financial records, including accounts payable and receivable Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy in financial transactions Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements Communicate financial information to management and stakeholders clearly Utilize accounting software for data entry and financial reporting Support audits by providing required documentation and information Proven experience as a Bookkeeper, Accountant, or similar role Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or similar tools Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Effective communication skills, both written and verbal Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred CPA certification is a plus but not mandatory Work From Home Performance Bonus Apply Job!
