What To ExpectThe People Content team is seeking a Staff Content Producer to join us, based in Austin, Texas. You will be responsible for both creative and logistical aspects of video projects covering the full range of Tesla products, priorities, people teams, programs, and protocols. You will oversee video or photography projects from start to launch, from content researching, writing, filming/recording, and editing. The role requires you to collaborate and build trust with stakeholders and manage high-impact situations. This is an opportunity to tell Tesla’s story and drive our message to help accelerate the world’s transition to sustainable energy.What You'll DoDevelop video concepts and scripts that effectively serve business needs and communicate the concept to stakeholders and collaborators.Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders. Coordinate interdepartmentally within Tesla to plan video or photo shoots.Be effective with time and budget. Be capable of tackling a single day or multi-week production, locally as well as out of state and internationally.Lead production on shoot days and keep the team on schedule and manage feedback rounds with stakeholders and see each video through to its launch.Proficient in using modern video and audio recording equipment. Strong understanding of post-production processes, capable of taking a project from concept to completion.Be able to work with resources available to ensure videos are completed on time and within budget maintaining Tesla’s video standards and advancing the unique Tesla brand and connection with our audience.What You'll Bring8 - 10 years' experience in a producer or production manager position at an agency, production company, or in-house marketing communications or creative services department advancing the business.Highly creative, organized with attention to detail, able to carry multiple projects in parallel, a great communicator and has the ability to turn challenges into opportunities for growth.Skilled in researching, writing, editing, building relationships, and managing projects.Strong understanding of video, photography, design, and content principles and practices. Hands-on experience with operating a camera or other video/audio equipment is preferred.Comfortable with uncertainty, ambiguity, being adaptable, and working in the office 5 days a week.Positive attitude with a bias for taking action and seeking feedback.
