Factory Assistant-Entry Level

Factory Assistant – Entry-Level Positions $18-20/hour Flexible Packaging/Printing We are seeking motivated and reliable individuals for entry-level Factory Assistant positions. Employees who demonstrate strong attention to detail, punctuality, a positive work ethic, and an aptitude for learning manufacturing processes will be eligible for promotion to machine operator positions or team leads. Interest in flexographic printing is a plus. Employees may be hired with a focus on one area (printing, forming, etc), but may be moved as business needs and employee talents dictate. Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with the setup and operation of machinery-assignments typically focus on specific areas such as printing, lamination, slitter or forming.
• Prepare materials and components, including managing anilox sleeves, plates, blades. Inks and other supplies depending on the area.
• Support cleaning procedures and ensure equipment is maintained according to company standards.
• Perform general machine assistance and adhere to all safety protocols.

Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift and move items up to 50 pounds. All positions require high attention to detail, awareness of safety concerns around large equipment, ability to concentrate while doing repetitive tasks and ability to stand for extended periods. Work Schedule:

• Standard hours may be 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday plus some Saturday hours.
• Additional Overtime may be required based on workflow
• Hours worked over 40 hours per week will be compensated at time and a half
