Summary
We are seeking a Data Analytics Intern to join our Business Intelligence & Data Transformation team for the Summer of 2025. This role is ideal for students with prior SQL knowledge who are excited to deepen their skills in data visualization, ETL operations, and data management systems. You’ll collaborate with experienced data professionals, gain hands-on training in Microsoft Power BI, and help build efficient, scalable analytics solutions.
Responsibilities
- Write and optimize SQL queries to extract, clean, and transform data
- Support the design and implementation of ETL pipelines using Microsoft Fabric Data Factory
- Assist in building dashboards and reports using Power BI to visualize key metrics
- Collaborate with business and tech teams to gather reporting requirements
- Learn and apply DBMS concepts to organize and manage structured datasets
- Participate in team meetings and company-wide conversations
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field
- Prior experience with SQL (data retrieval, joins, aggregations)
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Eagerness to learn BI tools, data modeling, and cloud-based data solutions
- Effective communicator with the ability to work independently and in a team setting
- Available to work full-time during Summer 2025
Preferred Qualifications
- Basic understanding of ETL processes or cloud data platforms
- Familiarity with PowerBI, Fabric Data Factory, Azure Data Factory, or similar platforms
- Knowledge of relational databases like Snowflake
