Brief Description Vitalant is seeking a Donor Outreach Coordinator dedicated to making a positive difference.? You will support Vitalant’s life saving mission by actively engaging with current, previous and potential donors to schedule their next blood donation at a local blood drive. As a Donor Outreach Coordinator, You’ll Get To
- Enhance the donor experience by providing quality customer service while inspiring donors to realize their life-transforming potential.
- Collaborate within a supportive team atmosphere, contributing to a positive work environment and goals.
- Retain donors by scheduling donation appointments, resolving customer service concerns, and consistently providing excellent customer service.
- Code donor records appropriately based on the information provided by donor and management.
Requirements
Knowledge/ Education:
- High School Graduate or GED required.
Experience
- One-year customer service experience - preferred
- Proficient computer skills required.
- Contact Center experience - preferred
Skills/Abilities
- Must possess the skills and abilities to successfully perform all assigned duties
and responsibilities.
- Must be able to maintain confidentiality.
- Ability to work autonomously and productively to meet and exceed goals while
multi-tasking, focusing on details and adapting to a changing environment.
- Ability to work in a repetitive role that majority of time is spent on the phone.
- Must possess a positive attitude that encourages teamwork.
