Amazon SES + Mailcoach Email System Setup
AngelWatch Corporation is a national accreditation program for the safety and security of children teachers schools and daycares partnered with the American Red Cross, the American Heart Association and backed by the Department of Homeland security We send over 1,000,000 emails per month and are building a high-performance outbound email system using Amazon SES and Mailcoach Cloud. Job Type: Short-Term Contract (Remote) Duration: 1–2 days Compensation: $400–$750 based on expertise and speed. Quickly correctly without any flaws during beta testing you would get a bonus. Yes we are looking for perfection Project Overview: We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented engineer to configure our email infrastructure using Amazon SES and Mailcoach Cloud. We are not looking for workarounds or experimentation. The technical requirements and architecture are clearly defined—we need a reliable professional who can implement it quickly and correctly. Scope of Work: Amazon SES Configuration
- Move SES account into production mode
- Request and secure sending quota of 1,000,000+ emails per month
- Set up dedicated or managed dedicated IP
- Configure Amazon SNS for bounce and complaint handling
Domain Authentication
- Configure SPF, DKIM, and DMARC using Route 53 (or advise)
- Verify domain for authenticated SES sending
Mailcoach Cloud Integration
- Connect our Mailcoach Cloud account to SES via SMTP or API
- Confirm bounce handling, open tracking, and list imports function correctly
- Launch and verify a test campaign
Amazon S3 for File Hosting
- Create and configure S3 bucket for email attachment hosting (PDF downloads)
- Provide URL structure for including downloads in campaigns
Deliverability Readiness
- Provide IP warm-up schedule
- Confirm suppression and list hygiene best practices are in place
- Advise on deliverability management and best practices if needed
Requirements:
- Demonstrated experience configuring Amazon SES at 500,000–1,000,000+ email/month scale
- Strong understanding of DNS authentication protocols: SPF, DKIM, DMARC
- Familiarity with Mailcoach Cloud or other Laravel-based email marketing platforms
- Experience setting up SNS feedback loops for bounces and complaints
- Ability to complete setup within 1–2 business days with minimal oversight
Required:
- Experience with email warm-up tools (Mailwarm, Warmup Inbox, etc.)
- Familiarity with list-cleaning services (NeverBounce, ZeroBounce, etc.)
- Ability to offer future deliverability consulting or tuning
