Are you a highly skilled and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist looking for a rewarding contract opportunity? We are ready to interview and hire ASAP for a full-time (1.2 FTE - 39 hours) or part-time position in a supportive school district in Albuquerque, New Mexico! About the Role: We are seeking a proactive and excellent communicator to join our team. This role involves providing speech and language services to a diverse caseload of 40-55 students. You will be working with a long-time billing client that boasts two wonderful SLP coordinators who are dedicated advocates for their Speech-Language Pathologists, fostering a truly collaborative and supportive environment. Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations.
• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs).
• Provide direct speech and language therapy to students in individual and group settings.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school professionals to support student success.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress.
• Problem-solve effectively to address student needs and challenges.
• For Clinical Fellows (CFs), we are committed to providing dedicated supervision.

Qualifications:

• Active New Mexico state Speech-Language Pathologist licensure is required to start.
• New Mexico Public Education Department (PED) certification can be in process upon start date, but both are required for school-based positions in NM.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential.
• Recent teaching or school-based experience preferred.

Compensation: The average hourly rate for a contract licensed school-based professional in New Mexico is $40-$50 based on experience. Why Albuquerque?
