The Director of Sales for Healthcare IT and Solutions will report to the Vice President of Sales. This is a sales and growth-oriented position for selling Healthcare Triangle's IT and Cloud services and solutions into healthcare provider organizations.The ideal person for this role will be highly motivated with a sense of urgency, an understanding of complex sales cycles, and have the knowledge and excellent communication skills to sell solutions to Executive-level leaders and coach them through successful sales processes. This person must have a hunger to expand Healthcare Triangle's client list by opening doors and winning net new business from new customer logos. Having a strong working knowledge and understanding of large health system IT eco-systems and experience with selling solutions and professional services to industry clients is a must.This role is an individual contributor role but with the opportunity to grow and eventually lead a team of their own. Initially, you will be responsible for full lifecycle sales into highly strategic healthcare accounts. There is significant potential in this role for a highly motivated seller.This role will be responsible for meeting revenue and gross margin goals. Travel will be required (approximately 25-50%).Responsibilities
- Exceed established goals for net new business and for midsize to large healthcare accounts
- Manage assigned prospects, pipeline, forecast, and keep CRM and other tech stack systems updated
- Self-source prospects and convert them to qualified pipeline opportunities
- Develop and execute target account strategy alongside Healthcare Triangle's senior management
- Structure and negotiate business terms and contracts with business leaders, procurement, senior management and/or C-level executives
- Craft and deliver engaging presentations
- Maintain strong relationships with account stakeholders
- Manage all steps of the sales cycle following company sales processes while accurately informing leadership of progress, status, and deficiencies or needs for success
- Other sales duties/responsibilities as needed
- Track record of new account opening, short-term account development, and quickly growing an account in terms of revenue and relationship strength; Epic and/or MEDITECH sales experience required
- Ability to understand complex business environments and interdependent relationships between business and IT
- Understanding and selling experience in public cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure and Google Cloud for highly regulated industries such as healthcare and pharma preferred.
- Strong inter-personal skills, experience working with and understanding the needs of diverse client stakeholders with problem solving and solutioning skills
- Have knowledge and perspective of healthcare IT industry, key players, technology trends, and competition
- Provide a high-level of collaboration internally with product and delivery teams and external partners
- Strong C-level communication, articulation, and presentation skills
- Articulate and meticulous control of messaging to positively impact quick progress towards success in starting new conversations and winning new business
- Understanding of the market, users, and solutions roadmaps and having the ability to connect this understanding to the client context to develop business opportunities for the Company
- Furthermore, having an ability to quantitatively assess and prioritize customer needs and shape deals for Company's services
- Solid experience in closing deals, PO execution, and high lead-to-conversion rate
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of school and work experience
- Strong communication, organizational, teamwork and leadership skills
- 5+ years of experience selling professional services and solutions into healthcare companies and growing a portfolio of accounts, consisting of leading companies.
- Proven ability to self-brand and effectively message the strengths of the companies and solutions you've represented.
- This is a hunter role; you need to exhibit that you have successfully created new conversations with new clients leading to sales and revenue
- Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications
- Proficient and proven ability to utilize, update and maintain a CRM system
- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Sound negotiation and consultative sales skills
- Exceptional customer service skills
