In this part-time remote position, the online sales specialist will answer questions, attach supplies and upsell products based on the customers’ needs. In this role, it’s imperative to have a keen eye for detail and a customer service attitude. As an HP Online Sales Specialist, you will ensure that all questions asked on a retailer's site either through chat or the designated QA sections are answered. Chat interactions specialize in quickly responding to customer concerns and questions, while positively representing HP through text-based conversations.Candidates applying for this remote role must have a PC with reliable, constant Wi-Fi connection. The ideal candidate will have some experience in the field of technology and customer service. Proper grammar and typing skill are required to excel in this role. Additionally, candidates must show empathy in their messaging and have the ability to handle challenging customer service situations and be able to manage their response accordingly.What's in it for you?

- Greet all customers in a timely and professional manor utilizing the eCommerce platform
- Research and qualify customers for the best solution
- Drive sales of all client products on supported retailer sites
- Accurately document and report sales
- Liaise with client product groups/quality control/other support teams when unable to find relevant information
- Provide sales support to the internet channel (increase online sales by focusing on customer's needs)
- Completes trainings on product and sales skills on a regular basis through online platforms both self and live
- Builds strong partnerships across supporting departments and operations
- Additional initiatives as requested
- Must be tech savvy and enjoy working with interactive technology
- 1 year of experience in sales and customer service is a plus
- Requires strong interpersonal and persuasive skills in order to communicate effectively with customers & prospects, as well as ability to overcome objections to close sales
- An engaging, outgoing personality and passion for helping customers
- Ability to communicate well
- Ability to work from home with focus and minimal distractions in this remote position
- Ability to operate in a teamwork environment remotely engaging with peers and managers through interaction online and through various platforms
- Excellent analytical, decision making and organizational skills
- Strong typing capabilities and PC proficiency essential for chat responsibilities
