- Exempt/Full-time, based in Dallas, TX (Hybrid)
- Reports to: QA Director in IT division
- Travel: 0-10%
- Review business requirements and develop functional test plans for both quality assurance and user acceptance testing
- Execute test plans and ensure the system application effectively meets all acceptance criteria
- Collaborate with the Product Owner, software development team, and QA Manager to ensure understanding of task requirements and assist with issue resolution
- Work in an agile software development environment for the full software development life cycle
- Work with Stakeholders to understand change requirements and acceptance criteria and provide feedback for any clarification needed
- Assist with issue tracking and issue resolution until fully resolved
- Support software release activities and help troubleshoot reported issues
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field
- Two+ years software testing experience
- Experience with manual structured testing practices and/or automated testing tools
- Understanding of the Agile software development methodology preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration with other project team members
- Experience in the Property and Casualty Insurance industry preferred
- Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office business and collaboration tools
- General knowledge of and comfort with diverse technologies
- Detail oriented and able to manage multiple tasks concurrently with extended development time frames
- Ability to work outside of standard business hours on occasion
- Must be able to work in a hybrid in-office and remote work environment
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
