As a Price Cost Analyst - Staff within our Center of Excellence, you will play a vital role in evaluating certified proposals submitted by subcontractors and suppliers. Our team performs and documents price/cost analysis on a variety of Supplier proposals for development, production and sustainment programs for our US Government customers.THE WORK
- Your work will involve detailed analysis of supplier proposals, by evaluating cost elements such as Direct Materials, Labor Hours, Other Direct Costs, Direct (labor) Rates and Indirect (overhead) Rates, Tooling, NRE and Profit.
- Your analysis report will make determinations regarding fair and reasonable pricing.
- Evaluations of supplier proposals are provided to the government customer and used in prime proposal pricing and are vital to winning business for Lockheed Martin.
- You will collaborate with various stakeholders in Supply Chain, including Subcontract Management, Engineering, Material Cost Estimating, Compliance and US government agencies to produce comprehensive written reports that inform decisions and contribute to prime proposal submissions.
- In addition to your analysis, you will provide support during price negotiations, ensuring alignment between Lockheed Martin and its subcontractors/suppliers.
- Some travel (10-20%) will be required as certain audits are conducted at subcontractor facilities.
- Occasionally, you may be called upon to support audits and field inquiries from US Government customers regarding your findings.
- Your expertise will also contribute to organizational initiatives, including process improvement and cost-estimating advancements. The role involves a mix of independent work and collaboration, both virtually and on-site at a LM location.
- Experience with financial data analysis / financial modeling
- Experience with Negotiations
- Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) proficiency
- Travel is required, approximately 10-20%.
- Auditing experience
- Knowledge of Financial and Managerial Accounting concepts
- Knowledge of Overhead Rate development
- Supply Chain experience
- Presentation skills
- Familiarity with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR)
- Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Supply Chain, or MBA
- CPA Certification
