• Lead capital engineering projects that support Growth, Cost Reduction, EHS improvement, and Equipment/Facility Renewal.
• Lead diverse teams including electrical, facilities, design, technical experts, and operations to deliver project expectations.
• Utilize project engineering fundamentals (scope, budget, schedule, forecasting, communication, financial analysis) to deliver the best outcome for 3M.

Your Skills and ExpertiseTo set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) with one (1) year of experience in project management in a private, public, government or military environment.

OR

• Associate's Degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution and three (3) years of project management experience in a private, public, government or military environment.

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

• Bachelor’s degree in chemical or mechanical engineering
• History of successful execution of projects including final performance in the factory
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Ability to effectively present project plans and status to management
• Team player with the ability to positively contribute to a multidisciplinary environment
• Knowledge of Process Safety Management and Mechanical Integrity industry practices
