Responsibilities include development of assembly processes, setup and programming of automated assembly equipment, training and support of equipment operators, writing floor documentation, assisting in the design of tooling, and purchase of capital equipment. Investigates production problems and recommends possible solutions such as modifying or revising production process or evaluating materials. Position requires the ability to set up new processes based on engineering prototypes and transition to production ready processes.Please Note: This position requires a government security clearance; you must be a US Citizen for consideration.WHO WE ARE

You possess a unique blend of technical skills, including experience with engineering drawings, electronic assemblies, and automated assembly equipment, as well as strong soft skills, such as effective communication and collaboration abilities, allowing you to work seamlessly with cross-functional teams and train production personnel. - Ability to work and communicate with production, design engineering, procurement, program management office and manufacturing personnel.
- Experience with engineering drawings and models.
- Experience with electronic assemblies or similar field.
- Personal computer skills including standard Microsoft Office programs, Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) for process development, able to write concise, complete process instructions.
- Experience with Microelectronics assembly and programming/running of automated assembly equipment (automated dispense, component attach, wire bond, seam sealing, inspection, etc.).
- Experience or knowledge of advanced packaging, flip chip, or SMT assembly.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles to plan, coordinate, and implement process improvements.
- Proven ability to work independently to instruct and train assembly personnel.
