This role is centered around the strategic oversight and enhancement of IT asset data, demanding a keen analytical perspective to ensure data precision, health, and conformity with our organizational standards. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to discern trends, recognize policy deviations, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to propose actionable enhancements to both data and processes.Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate the quality of asset data across all software, hardware, and capital assets within ServiceNow.
- Identify critical data sources and create repeatable processes to detect data irregularities and ensure compliance.
- Utilize data visualization methodologies to convey trends, challenges, and opportunities to stakeholders.
- Partner with technical teams, business analysts, and process owners to communicate insights and assist in developing effective remediation strategies.
- Design and generate reports, including compliance metrics, key performance indicators (KPIs), and trend analyses.
- Contribute to ongoing initiatives for continuous advancement in data management and processes.
- Support enhancements in IT asset management, including the automation of inventory and asset tracking procedures.
- Assist in shaping and refining the IT asset management (ITAM) program by identifying gaps and influencing governance standards.
- Analytical mindset with a focus on data integrity.
- Proficiency in data mining, statistical analysis, and mathematics.
- Experience handling large datasets and utilizing MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and MS Power BI.
- Familiarity with ServiceNow; knowledge of HAM Pro, SAM Pro, and CMDB is advantageous.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Understanding of the System/Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and Project Management methodologies.
- Knowledge of finance and procurement processes, including accounts payable and fixed assets.
- A commitment to continuous process improvement.
- A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent work experience in a similar role.
- Experience as a Data Analyst or Data Scientist.
