OverviewAs the Senior Sales Director, Fashion Specialty HEYDUDE you will play a pivotal role in steering our Wholesale channel operations across North America. - Develop and implement a comprehensive and creative sales strategy that aligns with consumer preferences, growth pillars, and prevailing market trends. You will need to keep your finger on the pulse of industry dynamics to respond proactively.
- Own the charge in account management, including the expansion of distribution channels and the cultivation of new business relationships to guarantee seamless operational execution.
- Establish and communicate clear objectives, targets, and performance guidelines for the sales team, ensuring that high standards are met across all facets of prospecting, negotiations, and order management.
- Guide Go-To-Market (GTM) strategy and execution for key accounts, ensuring that product assortments are compelling and that marketing activations are effectively aligned.
- Conduct comprehensive competitive analysis and monitor emerging market trends while applying consumer insights to inform strategic business planning efforts.
- Build, encourage, and lead a high-performance team, attracting top talent while encouraging an environment of mentoring and growth for emerging leaders.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with departments such as Merchandising, Marketing, Demand Planning, Customer Service, and HR to ensure flawless business support and alignment.
- Coordinate significant sales initiatives and projects that are closely aligned with the overarching business strategy while demonstrating flexibility to adapt to changing priorities.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 12+ years in footwear sales, 8+ in leadership roles
- Proven success growing business within a matrixed organization, with a background in U.S. retail and wholesale footwear market
- Experience with fashion, trend, and sporting goods accounts preferred
- Resilient leader comfortable with ambiguity and change. Strong communication, negotiation, and analytical skills
- Willingness to travel up to 50%
