We are seeking a caring and dedicated School Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) for a school near San Diego, CA for the 2025-2026 school year. Under the supervision of a school nurse or administrator, the LVN will support student health and wellness by administering care, managing chronic health conditions, and assisting in maintaining a safe and healthy school environment. Key Responsibilities: Provide first aid, emergency care, and routine medical support to students and staff. Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and care plans. Monitor and assist students with chronic conditions (e.g., diabetes, asthma, allergies). Maintain accurate health records and ensure compliance with HIPAA/FERPA. Support health screenings and implement Individualized Healthcare Plans (IHPs). Communicate with parents, staff, and healthcare providers as needed. Promote health education and infection control practices within the school. Manage medical supplies and maintain a clean, organized health office. Qualifications: Education: Completion of an accredited LVN program. Licensure: Current and valid Licensed Vocational Nurse license in the state. Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification; additional school health certifications may be preferred.
