Art Director
The opportunity:
The growing 40+ person creative team at FINN Partners is looking for an Art Director who can not only set the vision for a campaign but execute it too. You’ll tackle a wide range of assignments for our financial services clients—always through the lens of audience needs, client objectives, and business impact.
Who we’re looking for:
A versatile art director who understands that design is about form and function. In partnership with a copywriter, you take ownership of projects from start to finish, asking “What if?” every step of the way. You take pride in your craft, but you also know this is a team sport. You’re just as comfortable directing designers to execute your vision as you are getting your hands dirty in design programs.
Your role will include:
- Collaborating with copywriters to develop multi-channel creative concepts that are on brief and on brand
- Concepting and designing across a wide range of formats: websites, social media, email, video storyboards, sales collateral, presentations, infographics or data visualization, and branding guidelines
- Developing and maintaining strong collaborative cross-department partnerships with other creative/visual teams including production, UX, and social
- Balancing stretching creatively with efficiently developing new content within existing templates or approaches
- Managing multiple projects and deadlines while maintaining high standards of quality
- Presenting your work confidently, clearly, and with strong rationale
- Staying connected and collaborative with the team, but working independently and proactively when needed

- A portfolio demonstrating creative art direction and smart, polished design across a range of clients and industries
- 3-5 years of experience working within a creative department, either at an agency or on the client-side
- Strong concepting and collaboration skills
- Proficiency in InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, PowerPoint, Google Slides and a working knowledge of Figma
- Experience with video, animation, and illustration (a definite plus)
