Digital Denture Designer

Digital Denture Designer | Orange County, CA Full-Time. Up to $45/hr. + $2000 Sign-on/Relo Bonus! Job Overview: A well-established dental lab in Orange County is seeking an experienced Digital Denture Designer to join its team. This position focuses on the digital design of full and partial dentures using Exocad or 3Shape software. The ideal candidate will bring advanced knowledge of removable prosthetic workflows and digital manufacturing techniques, along with a high level of accuracy and esthetic design ability. Responsibilities:

• Design complete and partial dentures using Exocad and/or 3Shape.
• Set up teeth virtually for immediate, conventional, and implant-retained overdentures.
• Align and interpret digital scan data, including edentulous models, wax rims, bite. registrations, and opposing arches.
• Follow lab standards and Rx forms to ensure design accuracy and manufacturability.
• Prepare files for 3D printing or milling, ensuring readiness for fabrication.
• Revise designs based on clinical or internal feedback.
• Maintain organized digital records and documentation for each case.
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve technical or workflow-related issues.
• Stay current on CAD software updates and advancements in digital denture technology.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of experience designing digital dentures using Exocad and/or 3Shape.
• Strong understanding of removable prosthetics and full-arch workflows.
• Proficiency in CAD/CAM software, digital scanning, and STL file alignment.
• Familiarity with 3D printing and milling processes for dentures.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent aesthetic and anatomical design skills.
• Able to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced lab environment.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in a high-volume digital dental lab.
• Knowledge of nesting software for 3D printing and denture arch fabrication.
• CDT certification or formal training in removable prosthetics.
• Exposure to implant, fixed, or hybrid workflows.

Compensation:

• $25 and $45 per hour, depending on experience.
• $1,000 to $2,000 sign-on bonus available.
