Remote Veterinary Client Service Representative (CSR) – Thursday to Sunday

Kaua‘i North Shore Animal Clinic is seeking a skilled and experienced remote Client Service Representative (CSR) to join our fast-paced, progressive veterinary practice. This is a fully remote role, with required hours Thursday through Sunday, 7:45 AM – 5:00 PM HST. Sunday coverage is especially critical, as we are the only clinic open on Sundays and often function as urgent care. We’re looking for a calm, tech-savvy communicator who thrives in high-volume environments, manages multiple platforms with ease, and maintains a poised, professional presence—all while working remotely. The ideal candidate will also bring the initiative and capability to grow into advanced administrative tasks and support the practice manager with operations, reporting, and special projects over time. Schedule & Technical Requirements

• Schedule: Thursday to Sunday, 7:45 AM – 5:00 PM HST
• Training: Must be available Monday–Wednesday during onboarding
• Remote Setup: Quiet, dedicated home office free of distractions. High-speed internet for seamless video conferencing. Computer monitor (not just a laptop screen)
• Ability to appear on video at a moment’s notice during shift
• This role must be treated with the same urgency and professionalism as an in-clinic role
• Punctuality is essential
• Prior remote veterinary CSR experience is required

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for client communications via phone (Weave), text, email, and online platforms on Sundays with a supporting role to the in clinic CSR Thursday-Saturday
• Triage client concerns, schedule appropriately, prioritize messages, and escalate urgent cases appropriately
• Maintain real-time, detailed documentation in Vetspire
• Communicate effectively with the team through Slack
• Ability to troubleshoot tech issues
• Tech-savvy and confident using Vetspire, Weave, Slack, Google Workspace, and Canva
• Format internal documents and create spreadsheets
• Lead the clinic’s social media presence, including creating posts, responding to engagement, and monitoring reviews
• Request and respond to online reviews with warmth and professionalism

• Assisting the practice manager with operational tasks and reporting
• Helping manage onboarding documents, internal communications, or compliance tracking
• Supporting HR or marketing initiatives

Who You Are

• Experienced veterinary CSR with remote veterinary work experience in a fast-paced, client-centered clinic
• Exceptionally tech-savvy, organized, and capable of juggling multiple priorities
• Confident using Vetspire, Weave, Slack, Canva, iPads, MacOS, and Google Workspace
• Proactive and self-directed, with strong follow-through and attention to detail
• Friendly and professional across all channels of communication
• Understands the unique challenges of working in a remote island setting without referral options
• Reliable, calm under pressure, and genuinely aligned with supporting a high-functioning team
• Preference given to candidates who have lived in, visited, or have ties to Hawai‘i. If not, you must bring a sincere desire to understand the culture, community, and unique environment of Kaua‘i in order to become a seamless and respectful part of our team

• At least 3 years of experience in the veterinary field

• Proficiency with Vetspire or similar cloud-based PIMS
• Hands-on experience working in a veterinary setting within the last year
