We're seeking an experienced Product Design Manager to lead our talented design team and collaborate with product and engineering leaders to evolve our platform. What you'll do: • Drive design strategy that aligns with business objectives and creator needs while maintaining a consistent product experience • Partner with product and engineering leadership to shape the product roadmap, prioritize initiatives, and ensure effective design resource allocation • You will dedicate approximately 30% of your time to hands-on design work in Figma, actively contributing to high-impact projects • Provide clear design direction and constructive feedback to elevate the quality of our solutions • Lead and mentor a diverse team of designers, fostering their growth and professional development • Establish design processes that balance speed and quality while maintaining high standards • Build and nurture an inclusive team culture that encourages experimentation and excellence • Develop and implement a cohesive strategy for integrating brand and marketing within our product experience • Grow your leadership capabilities in an environment that values continuous learning and development Who you'll work with: You'll join a passionate team dedicated to revolutionizing creator tools at vidIQ. As Product Design Manager, you'll report directly to the Head of Product while leading a distributed team of four designers across global time zones. Working closely with product and engineering managers, you'll drive strategic design initiatives that directly impact creators' success. Your role will be instrumental in shaping innovative solutions that empower creators in the rapidly evolving creator economy. Who you are: You're a design leader with a passion for empowering creators. You have a strong portfolio showcasing your expertise in designing intuitive, user-friendly interfaces. You have experience managing designers, developing design systems, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. • You love YouTube and have a strong desire to help creators on the platform succeed • You have at least 5 years experience designing and shipping software for web, iOS, and Android – some brand and marketing design experience is a plus • You’re a dynamic mentor, a supportive sponsor, and motivational leader • You have experience collaborating remotely • You want to be part of a product led company that ships quickly and leverages data to inform the roadmap • You have experience managing or leading designers • You have a portfolio of two or three projects that showcase your latest work Apply Job!
