We are looking for a proactive and dynamic individual to support the Avila Beach Hotel in monitoring and engaging across key social media platforms. Your primary responsibilities will include actively participating in discussions on TripAdvisor, Reddit, and Facebook groups related to Curaçao, responding to messages, and fostering meaningful interactions that enhance the hotel's online presence. Success in this role requires a deep understanding of social media trends, excellent communication skills, and the ability to represent our esteemed brand professionally and engagingly. The objective is to enhance the Avila Beach Hotel's online presence and brand reputation by engaging in strategic social listening and engagement. The goal is to increase the hotel website's traffic by 10% and boost direct bookings by 5% within the next six months. Location: Remote Hours: Part-time, 10 hours per week Trial Period: One-week evaluation; upon successful completion, the position may be extended monthly. Responsibilities: Social Listening and Monitoring: ? Monitor conversations, mentions, and reviews related to the Avila Beach Hotel in Curacao, and the Caribbean travel industry across various platforms. ? Conduct sentiment analysis to gauge public opinion and identify positive, negative, or neutral sentiments. ? Perform competitor analysis to understand the competitive landscape and identify opportunities for differentiation. Engagement and Community Management: ? Actively engage with users on platforms like TripAdvisor (forums), Reddit, and Facebook (groups), following all guidelines and etiquettes to guide discussions towards the hotel’s offerings. ? Fostering a community atmosphere and promoting direct engagement with potential guests. Content and Strategy Development: ? Collaborate with the marketing team to develop content strategies based on insights gained from social listening. ? Identify content gaps on the website and recommend new blog articles or updates to enhance user experience and SEO. ? Share insights on trending topics and trends and emerging issues to inform content creation and marketing strategies. Reporting and Analysis: ? Provide daily reports on key findings, achievements, and engagement metrics. ? Conduct monthly analyses of growth opportunities, competitor strategies, and customer feedback to inform future actions. ? Recommend strategies for website optimization and user experience improvements based on social listening insights. Brand Reputation and Crisis Management: ? Monitor for potential PR crises or negative sentiment and work with the marketing team to develop response strategies. ? Manage the hotel’s brand reputation online by addressing feedback constructively and promoting positive experiences. Required Skills and Qualifications: ? Proven experience in social media management, community engagement, or a similar role. ? Familiarity with social listening tools and analytics software. ? Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a strong understanding of online etiquette. ? Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven recommendations. ? Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. ? Knowledge of the travel industry and Curacao’s tourism market is a plus. Tools: ? Social Listening: Brandwatch, Mention for monitoring mentions, sentiment analysis, and competitor insights. ? Analytics: Google Analytics for website traffic analysis and conversion tracking. ?
