Join a pioneering Embedded technology company as a Field Applications Engineer (FAE), leveraging your object-oriented design experience and technical expertise to enhance the team of sales professionals. In this role, you will engage with clients, providing vital technical support to address their needs effectively. Responsibilities: • Collaborate with clients and prospects to understand their requirements. • Develop and conduct pre-sales technical demonstrations of products to new and existing customers. • Provide on-site support and training for clients. • Devise and implement tailored solutions for customers' unique challenges. • Generate comprehensive technical support documentation. • Coordinate and actively participate in marketing activities and events such as trade shows. Must-Haves: • Strong multitasking, prioritization, and follow-through capabilities. • Self-motivated and adept at working independently with minimal supervision. • Extensive software development expertise in C, C++, and Python. • Experience with Unix/Linux operating systems. • Familiarity with embedded tools and development environments. • Background in technical sales support. • Excellent problem-solving skills. • Ability to quickly comprehend and understand code developed by others. • Willingness to travel. • Eligibility to work for any employer in the US without requiring sponsorship. Nice-to-Haves: • Knowledge of Embedded RTOS (e.g., QNX, VxWorks, INTEGRITY, ThreadX, FreeRTOS, etc.). • Experience with Embedded development tools such as compilers, debuggers, IDEs, etc. • Familiarity with embedded safety and security platforms. • Proficiency in developing BSPs (Board Support Packages) and device drivers for embedded operating systems.
