Youâ??ll be responsible managing the business development (sales) of a defined list of travel agency accounts and consortia throughout the United States and Canada. The objective is to achieve sales goals for Cunard Line in alignment with the company's business objectives and Cultural Essentials. This role will be responsible for accounts throughout the US and Canada and reports to the VP of Sales, North America. The ideal candidate would live near a major city/airport in the US or Canada. This role will require 30-50% travel in the US and Canada. Hereâ??s a summary of what Cunard is looking for in its Business Development Manager. Is this you? Responsibilities Business Development (Revenue Generation) Agency Account Management Marketing Development and Management Budget Management Communication (Internal, External, and Feedback) Professional Development Requirements 3 years of business to business (B2B) sales experience. Preferred 5 years of business to business (B2B) sales experience in the travel industry Strong in-person and virtual presentation skills Strong Microsoft Office skills- Excel, Word, and PowerPoint Excellent verbal and written communication Strong consultative selling skills Solid computer literacy Ability to plan, schedule, prioritize workload Adaptable to change Perseverance to work with agency decision makers Works well in a team Willingness to take on ad-hoc projects Self-directed and ability to work independently Entrepreneurial spirit Travel expectation 30-50% (Car allowance and P Card will be provided) Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
