Remote School Social Worker| Pennsylvania S.D. Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Virtual School-Based Social Worker licensed in Pennsylvania to provide services to K-12 students. As a 1099 independent contractor, you’ll collaborate with educators, families, and other specialists to address student needs. This fully remote position offers flexibility and the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in students' lives. Caseload Details: • Fully remote position working with K-12 grade levels providing counseling sessions for students needing emotional and learning support. • Part Time Position: 2-3 days weekly schedule • Flexible schedule offered Key Responsibilities: • Provide virtual counseling and support to Pennsylvania K-12 students to address social, emotional, and behavioral challenges. • Develop and implement strategies to help students overcome barriers to academic and social success. • Collaborate with Pennsylvania school administrators, teachers, and families to create a supportive learning environment. • Conduct assessments and provide interventions aligned with students' Individualized Education Plans (IEPs). • Facilitate group sessions on topics such as social skills, coping strategies, and conflict resolution. • Maintain accurate and confidential records, adhering to Pennsylvania and federal regulations. • Utilize VocoVision’s teletherapy platform to deliver services effectively. Requirements: • Active licensure as a School Social Worker in Pennsylvania • Professional Educators License in the state of Pennsylvania • Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) or a related field. • Minimum of 2 years of experience working with K-12 students, preferably in a school or virtual setting. • Deep understanding of Pennsylvania school policies and special education requirements. • Excellent communication and collaboration skills. • Proficiency with teletherapy platforms and virtual communication tools. • Reliable high-speed internet and appropriate equipment for virtual service delivery (e.g., webcam, headset).
