Cutting-edge, tax/accounting software focused FinTech firm is looking for an experienced individual with a full-stack engineering background to join its growing organization as an Innovation Developer for a Six (6) Month Temporary, Fully Remote role with the possibility to Extend or Go Permanent. Working 40-hrs per Week; Standard Business Hours with the Flexibility to Work East Coast Hours to be on possible Meetings from 10am-3pm. An Innovation Developer is a strategic thinker and problem solver responsible for introducing Client ideas, developing innovative products, and improving existing offerings through hands-on rapid prototyping and development activities. The Emerging Technology Group is looking for a qualified candidate with a full-stack engineering background who is looking to be part of the innovation pipeline to test new ideas in areas such as AI, machine learning, UX, analytics, and blockchain via small scale technology pilots. This position will be a technical hands-on role and may require reverse engineering code, hypothesis testing, solution architecture development, idea generation, and preparing project summary demonstrations. The ideal candidate should have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, strong communication and collaboration abilities, and a passion for technology and user-centric design. The candidate should be able to be given very loose requirements, define and communicate the progress, setup the environment, execute and present their findings. Our working environment is based on GitHub, Atlassian Jira, Atlassian Confluence and Microsoft Teams. Qualifications • Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or Software Engineering, or equivalent education and experience • Four Plus (4+) plus years of experience in SaaS Cloud Application Development, Rapid Prototyping, or Innovation Labs or equivalent combination of education and/or experience • Development experience in SaaS Platforms (Azure, AWS etc Apply Job!
