On top of flexible scheduling and competitive starting pay, we offer our team members abundant opportunities for career growth and development. • Our benefits and discounts will have you jumping for joy. • We understand that every pet is unique, and we provide personalized care to ensure that we meet the specific needs of each and every one • Optimally manage warehouse inventory movements and restocking to facilitate prompt and accurate shipment preparation of PETCO merchandise. • Standardized execution of various tasks multiple times a day: • The candidate must verify that they can perform their assigned duties, with or without support or accommodations, based on their prior history: • Employ forklift machinery, including pallet jacks, stand-up lifts, and turret trucks, for effortless operation. • Systematically carry merchandise weighing up to 50 pounds by repetitive lifting motions. • The act of scanning the barcodes of items via a handheld computer device may be authorized • Experienced with digital pick-module operation Supervisory Responsibility: While the typical responsibilities of this job don't involve supervising co-workers, management may sometimes assign added tasks, like offering functional guidance to others. Work Environment: The job requires a significant amount of physical exertion, including lifting, carrying, and bending, often in excess of 50 pounds, with regular climbing. Consistent exposure to environmental factors such as heat, cold, dust, dirt, fumes, and noise within the warehouse is another aspect to consider. Although some tasks may take place outdoors, the bulk of the work occurs within the warehouse's confines. It is essential to recognize this work's inherent risks and hazards.
