Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented Medical Transcriptionist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for obtaining authorization for office visits and procedures from insurance companies. Transcribing medical reports dictated by healthcare professionals into written documents ... Responsibilities: - Listen to recorded dictations from healthcare providers and transcribe them accurately. -Knowledge in obtaining authorizations for visits and cardiology procedures. - Ensure all transcribed documents are grammatically correct and error-free. - Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines. - Review and edit transcribed reports for quality assurance. Skills: - Proficiency in medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology. - Excellent typing skills to transcribe medical reports efficiently. - Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in transcriptions. - Knowledge and experience in obtaining authorizations from insurance companies. - Ability to work independently and meet deadlines consistently.
