Minimum 1+ years intrepreter experience required. About the Role: We are seeking a Full-Time Virtual Sign Language Interpreter to join our team for the 2024-2025 school year. This remote position is ideal for a dedicated professional who is passionate about providing sign language interpretation in a virtual classroom setting to support deaf and hard-of-hearing students. Responsibilities: Â Provide real-time sign language interpretation for virtual classes. Â Ensure clear communication between students and teachers. Â Collaborate with educators to support and meet individual student needs. Â Utilize a comprehensive toolkit to enhance lesson integration and student participation. Qualifications: Â EIPA score of 3.5 or higher. Â Ability to obtain an Oregon interpreter license after an offer is extended. Â Prior experience in educational interpreting is a plus.
