DescriptionThe Senior Enterprise Observability (Splunk) Engineer devises an effective strategy for executing and delivering on IT business initiatives. This position will involve a range of Splunk engineering and configuration activities including system deployment, Splunk app implementation, data onboarding, and other Splunk integrations. Development projects employ DevOps practices and Agile methodologies to ensure timely delivery of solution improvements aligned with customer requirements. This role will be responsible, working closely with Security Engineering and Infrastructure Engineering teams to identify, design, implement, and test solutions for logging and observability. A strong IT background, as well as knowledge of network and systems administration is beneficial.Work closely with Security and IT Operations teams and project stakeholders to deliver needed solutions in a timely manner.Develop and maintain detailed technical documentation which includes solution requirements, use cases, system dependencies, test plans, build and deploymentDrives transparency and monitoring of critical log data ingestion including alerting based on dynamic thresholdsCollaboratively design and implement custom Splunk solutions which satisfy project requirements.ResponsibilitiesDo you enjoy using data to solve complex problems?
