Job Description: Are you a highly skilled and motivated tax professional with a passion for numbers and financial analysis? If so, we invite you to join our team as a Revenue Tax Specialist at Yes Bank Limited. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in managing and optimizing our tax strategies to ensure compliance and maximize revenue. Key Responsibilities: Tax Compliance: You will be responsible for ensuring that Yes Bank complies with all relevant tax laws and regulations. This includes preparing and filing tax returns accurately and on time. Tax Strategy Development: Collaborate with the finance and accounting teams to develop tax strategies that minimize the bank tax liability while remaining within the boundaries of the law. Research and Analysis: Conduct research on evolving tax laws and regulations, and analyze their impact on the bank. Provide recommendations for strategic adjustments based on your findings. Reporting and Documentation: Maintain detailed records of all tax-related activities and financial transactions. Prepare comprehensive reports for internal and external stakeholders. Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with different departments within the bank to ensure that financial transactions are structured in a tax-efficient manner. Tax Audits: Represent Yes Bank during tax audits, ensuring that all necessary documentation is available and that auditors inquiries are addressed promptly. Required Skills: Bachelor degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. CPA certification is a plus. Proven experience in tax compliance and tax strategy development, ideally within the banking or financial sector. Strong understanding of tax laws and regulations. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy. Effective communication and collaboration abilities. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
