About Us PlayAI is at the forefront of generative voice and conversational LLMs. With our Speech Synthesis and Voice Cloning models, we are building SOTA conversational AI products... We are building a platform and infrastructure for Conversational AI Voice Agents so that every business, developer, or tinkerer can easily build talking human-like AI agents and use them to serve their customers; this will unlock massive value for the world and a lot of happiness for people using these delightful agents. We joined YC last year in the YC W23 batch. Since then, we have raised $20m in seed funding and seen significant growth in users and revenue (20x the last two years). Role Overview: We are seeking an enthusiastic social media advocate who is passionate about and deeply understands voice AI and the rapidly evolving landscape of large language models (LLMs). We are specifically looking for a scrappy, highly motivated individual with a track record of growing followership and engagement with a highly technical audience. We are prepared to pay above-market rates for candidates who can demonstrate success in doing so. Key Responsibilities: • Market Sentiment Monitoring: Actively monitor social platforms like Discord and Reddit to gather insights on market sentiment and emerging trends in the voice AI space. • AI Agent Creation: Utilize Play.ai to create new AI agents that enhance our product offerings and engage our user community. • Content Creation: Produce and share engaging marketing content across various social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, and Tik Tok all in scope if you can demonstrate success) to boost brand awareness and audience engagement. • Stay on the Pulse of Culture: Identifying trending content/creators for us to partner with that represent viral growth opportunities. Stay up to date with the latest social media trends, best practices, and emerging platforms. • Community Engagement: Build and grow Play's community into a core product offering, enabling the community to engage with one another. Qualifications: • Experience: Previous marketing social media experience is highly valued; must have a track record of growing followership. We strongly value an entrepreneurial mindset and growing a followership over years of experience. • Education: Recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred. We will consider undergraduates if they’ve demonstrated a successful track record. • Social Media Skills: Strong familiarity with social media platforms, especially Discord and Reddit, with a keen understanding of how to leverage them for marketing purposes. • Passion for Technology: A genuine interest in voice AI and the broader technology landscape, with a desire to learn and contribute to a pioneering company. • Iterating Machine: You want to see what works. You invent, ship, measure it, report back, try again.
