Description: • This role is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring all transactions are properly recorded and reconciled • This role involves preparing financial statements (balance sheets, profit and loss reports) and analyzing financial data to forecast future financial outcomes • Ensures that all financial transactions are properly recorded and posted in the accounting system • Ensures accuracy of entries to ledger accounts and performs reconciliations between subsidiary ledgers and the general ledger • Prepares monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other key reports • Analyzes current costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations to provide insights into future revenue and expenses • Assists in the reconciliation of bank statements, credit cards, and other financial accounts • Ensures that financial transactions comply with accounting policies and regulations • Supports internal and external audits, providing requested documentation and addressing any discrepancies • Assists with budget preparation and forecasting, and monitors financial performance against the budget • Assists with payroll processing, ensuring the accurate recording of employee hours, deductions, and benefits, and addresses payroll-related inquiries with HR • Supports other Accounting team functions as needed Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field • Must have a minimum of 2-4 years of experience in general accounting, within a healthcare environment • Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) • Solid knowledge of Excel and other financial analysis tools • Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines • A team player with a positive attitude and a strong work ethic • Proactive and self-motivated, with a problem-solving mindset and a can-do attitude • Flexible and adaptable to changing business needs in a fast-paced environment Benefits: • Development, mentoring and training programs designed to help you chart your dream career and make sure you are learning everything you need to know as you gain more responsibility • Fast growth company with opportunities to take on more responsibility or develop into new roles • Flexible work environment and the opportunity to work from home • Competitive compensation • 401(k) plan with a healthy contribution • Equity in the form of stock options • Medical, Dental and Vision coverage for you and your family • Life insurance and Disability • Generous Paid Time Off Apply Job!
