BI Data Engineer (Remote, India)

The ideal candidate is technically strong with a willingness to share that experience through mentorship, and excited to take on new challenges. What you will take on: • Gain an understanding of Arise business • Gain an understanding of current Arise technology • Look for opportunities to automate manual data processes • Support integrations with third-party systems • Work with the Data Integration, Reporting and Analysis teams Responsibilities: • Design and implement efficient and scalable ETL processes to move and transform data from source systems to data warehouses or data lakes • Collaborate closely with data teams to understand source applications and stored data structures to translate them into effective enterprise data architecture and design • Serve as a data architect, designing and implementing solutions that align with business objectives and data strategy • Exploratory Data Analysis to inform design decisions of data assets • Work with various APIs to extract data from external sources and integrate it seamlessly into our data ecosystem • Explore and implement new technologies, tools, and frameworks that enhance the data engineering and processing capabilities of the team • Power BI Development: Create interactive and insightful Power BI dashboards and reports that provide actionable insights to various stakeholders. • Data Integration: Integrate data from different systems and sources, ensuring seamless data flow and integration points between various applications. • Performance Tuning: Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in data pipelines, ETL processes, and Power BI reports to ensure optimal performance. • Data Governance: Implement data governance practices to ensure data privacy, security, compliance, and adherence to data quality standards. • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to align data management and analytics solutions with business objectives. • Creates technical designs that will be used by developers to create ETL packages and reports. Each Technical Design will include source-to-target mapping, data models and other information critical to the design • Uses data modeling tools to create logical and physical data models • Performs mapping and tracing data from system to system to solve business or system problems. • Prepare and maintain written technical documentation detailing the contents and operation of each report. • Determines testing needed to assure the functionality and integrity of reporting solutions, create test plans, and evaluate testing results taking corrective action as necessary. • Collaborates with and reviews the work of other data programmer resources. Skills: • Hands-on experience with MS SQL Server 2016. • Able to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment • Analytical, problem solving, creative thinking and design skills. • Experience in programming complex SQL queries and stored procedures. Ability to perform detailed data analysis (i.e., determine the structure, content, and quality of the data through examination of source systems and data samples). • Experience with Salesforce SOQL would be helpful • Proficiency with MS Excel is desired. • Telecom experience is HIGHLY preferred • MuleSoft and API integration is a plus • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude toward challenges • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively within a team environment • Ability to adapt to evolving technologies and eagerness to stay up-to-date with industry trends Apply Job!
