Two (2) Positions Available: Part-time, Membership Services 4-5 hr shift: Monday - Friday, 10am-3pm (some flexibility) 6 hr shift: Monday - Friday, 11:30am-6:30pm, unpaid lunch break Seeking professional and with excellent customer service and web-based data portal management. Bilingual Spanish a must. Responsible for the intake process. Tasks include but not limited to; answering / routing calls, intake process of registration applications via online portal, payments, filing and data management through Vision Member Tracking. Monitor/manage flow of pedestrian traffic entering and leaving the building, with special attention to safety at all times. DAYS AND HOURS REQUIRED ┬Ľ Monday - Friday (September - June) ┬Ľ Summer: Monday ┬ľ Friday, 8:30am ┬ľ 5:00pm (exact time may vary) Requirements: ┬Ľ 21 + years or older ┬Ľ College or Degree (Associates/BA) preferred ┬Ľ Experience working with children, Boys & Girls Club experience a plus++ ┬Ľ Education background in computer and internet systems, data entry or other related field. ┬Ľ Strong Technical skills: proficient in MS Word, Excel and publisher; online registration portal process. ┬Ľ Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. ┬Ľ Demonstrates the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. ┬Ľ Demonstrate ability in working with young people and parents. ┬Ľ Must possess necessary skills to properly instruct and guide youth. ┬Ľ Must be take initiative, be creative, resourceful and motivated Additional Job Functions: ┬Ľ Greet group agencies, students and community members. ┬Ľ Be knowledgeable of all programs and schedules. ┬Ľ Greet visitors, members, and parents with a warm welcoming smile. ┬Ľ Professional phone etiquette, respectful and polite. ┬Ľ Resource for visitors and parents, when and where appropriate. ┬Ľ Process fee payments, providing completed receipt. ┬Ľ Remain ever vigilant regarding member safety and security. ┬Ľ Thoroughly understand all emergency procedures (Fire, crisis, etc.). ┬Ľ Maintain clean and well-organized space/lobby at all times. ┬Ľ Develop and implement a positive and inclusive membership application and fee intake process that informs and welcomes parents; including Club tours, form review, answering questions, and assisting new families as necessary. ┬Ľ Create and provide communication materials to parents, school or community members/organizations. ┬Ľ Type correspondence and spreadsheets, maintain accurate computer records and generate reports, to include: Average Daily Attendance, program activity participation records as it pertains to various grants and funding source Additional Requirements: ┬Ľ Ability to perform gross and fine motor activities required for typing, writing, simple manipulations such as telephone buttons, computer keyboards, fax machine buttons, etc. ┬Ľ Visual acuity for accurate reading, typing, filing and use of computer screen. ┬Ľ Ability to work at a rapid pace and where frequent interruptions and changes in plans or deadlines may occur. ┬Ľ Hearing is needed for purposes of business related phone communications, public broadcasts, answering incoming calls, etc. ┬Ľ Ability to lift and carry 15 to 50 lbs office supplies, audio equipment , and other items needed for the preparation and takedown of special events. ┬Ľ Ability to bend, twist, reach, stoop, squat for filing and retrieval of stored files and supplies.
