Job title: Long-Term Substitute Teacher - Hearing Support (Early Intervention) Company: Montgomery County Intermediate Unit 23 Job description : A vacancy exists for a Long-Term Substitute Teacher - Hearing Support to work within the Office of Early Childhood Services at the Montgomery County Intermediate Unit This full-time position supports students ages 3 to 5 years old. Qualifications: Valid PA Certification as Teacher of Deaf/Hearing Impaired. Current child abuse, PA criminal clearance, and FBI fingerprinting clearance required. Duties & Responsibilities: To develop to the fullest the communicative abilities of children demonstrating peripheral auditory disorders, and to facilitate their ability to function within their educational placements. Location: The Montgomery County Intermediate Unit is located in Norristown, PA and services children throughout Montgomery County, PA. Our Early Intervention Program is split on school district lines into four (4) regions within Montgomery County. This is an Itinerant position supporting students and programs throughout Montgomery County, PA. For additional information about Early Intervention, please visit: . Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7.5 hours/day, 12 months (194 days/year) 2023-2024 Salary: Bachelor?s, Step 1: $51,872/year Master?s, Step 1: $62,882/year *Placement on salary schedule based on experience and/or education beyond the Master?s Degree.
