Company Description Wish Travel Agency is a full-service travel agency based in Louisiana specializing in Disney destinations such as Walt Disney World, Disneyland, and Disney Cruise Line. We are experts in these destinations so that we can provide exceptional service to our clients. In addition, we work with vendor partners including Universal Studios, Marriott, ALG, and various cruise lines. We pride ourselves on being true experts in our core destinations. We want our clients to get their first taste of the experience that the Disney company aims to provide when they work with us. We focus on incorporating storytelling into the planning phase of travel so that our service is part of the overarching Disney experience. Role Description This is a fully remote 1099 contractor role for an Independent Travel Agent at Wish Travel Agency. The Independent Travel Agent will be responsible for developing their own book of business, providing top-notch customer service, arranging travel (accommodations, park tickets, dining and lighting lanes) and driving sales. Qualifications  Impeccable customer service mindset  Strong communication and interpersonal skills  Attention to detail and organization  Active social media presence  Experience in the travel industry is a plus  Knowledge of Disney destinations is required  Sales experience preferred Support Training in our core destinations is provided by our vendor partners. Additional industry training is available for those who do not possess an existing travel certification. Our agents meet on an approximate monthly schedule for professional development presentations and team building. Our agency owner and veteran agents are always available for additional 1:1 development discussions in order to contribute to the developing success of all team members. Required Resources It is expected that all applicants have their own laptops, headsets, and high-speed internet as well as access to quiet distraction free environments to work from. Our agency offers access to a cost-shared pool of resources that are required for employment such as errors and omissions insurance, company email addresses, and client management software.
