About the role We are currently seeking an IT Support Technician to join our team. As an IT Support Technician, you will play a key role in providing technical assistance and support to our organization's employees. This position offers an excellent opportunity to utilize your technical skills to resolve hardware, software, and network issues and ensure smooth IT operations. Day-to-day responsibilities - Providing technical support to employees via in-person, phone, or remote assistance. - Installing, configuring, and troubleshooting hardware and software systems. - Diagnosing and resolving technical issues related to desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices. - Assisting in the setup and configuration of user accounts and access permissions. - Performing routine maintenance tasks such as software updates, patches, and system backups. - Documenting support activities, solutions, and resolutions in the ticketing system. - Collaborating with the IT team to identify recurring issues and implement proactive solutions. About you - Associate or bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent work experience). - Strong technical skills with knowledge of Windows and/or macOS operating systems. - Experience with troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused approach. - Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. - Familiarity with ITIL framework and best practices is a plus. - Previous experience in IT support or helpdesk roles is preferred.
