The General Manager must have a background in health/wellness with an eagerness for sales. We are looking for a passionate individual that enjoys leadership. Compensation $45,000 to $85,000 Annually Comprehensive Health Insurance Policy Included Employment Type We are looking for driven and hardworking individuals to join our team. Stretch Zone is the pioneer in practitioner assisted stretching. Our locations span across the country and we continue to grow everyday. We are seeking out individuals versed in sales with a management background. If selected the applicant must be able to complete two weeks of training where they will learn our modalities as well as how to manage a location. Objectives of this Role The General Manager (GM) is responsible for the successful operations and financial accountability of all areas of the studio. The GM orchestrates delivery of superior customer service, achievement of employees, customer satisfaction and performance relative to studio objectives. The GM executes the implementation strategy and ongoing management of companywide standards for key operational activities, programs and goals throughout the studio. The GM communicates with the regional manager and corporate managers regularly or when deemed necessary. The GM provides leadership, direction and support to all direct reports. GM is directly responsible for managing all employees of the store. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Oversee day-to-day operations, assigning weekly performance goals and assuring their completion, while accomplishing your own goals Enforce all Stretch Zone corporate policies, business practices, systems and processes Contribute to and maintain the Culture of Stretch Zone* Encourage and motivate clients throughout their stretch sessions Exhibit leadership by engaging in all studio activities (lead by example) Drive new and existing client membership sales through outside sales, lead generation, business development efforts and client retention efforts Provide and maintain the highest level of customer service Provide effective decision making regarding customer service issues Plan and promote special events for the studio on a monthly basis, using Stretch Zone tools for effective outreach and community involvement. In addition, marketing outside and at community events is a must. Responsible for ensuring that the studio is clean, maintained and operationally sound Resolve internal staff conflicts efficiently and to the mutual benefit of those involved Manage the staff schedule Other duties as assigned Skills and Qualifications Strong communication, sales and customer service skills required Excellent verbal and written communication skills in person, via the telephone and email Preferred background: Exercise, Health or Recreational Science Degree, Personal Trainer or Sports Coach, Physical Therapist, PT Aide, Chiropractor, Pilates, Yoga Instructor, or Dance Instructor Have at least 2+ years of fitness, health or wellness sales experience A strong and demonstrated affinity for and/or experience in the Health, Wellness & Fitness industry are preferred Ability to stand or sit for up to 8 hours throughout the workday Professional, punctual, reliable and neat Strong attention to detail and accuracy Trustworthy and ability to handle confidential information Ability to recognize areas of improvement and make changes using good judgment Ability to multi-task and manage client and staff concerns Ability to work well independently and collaboratively with Studio Owner Proficient computer skills required Ability to work and function in a TEAM environment Flexible to work day, evening and/or weekend hours as needed About Stretch Zone: Stretch Zone is the world's leading source and educator for today's advanced practitioner-assisted stretching.
