Online Course Designers – Multiple business disciplines, infused with Christian World View Are you a subject matter expert in a business or communications field? Do you have passion and business expertise to share with non-traditional students to jumpstart their careers? Are you developing scripts for a podcast? We would like to speak with you. CLASSIFICATION: Full-time, 12-month, business faculty LOCATION: Remote or hybrid remote at our Grand Rapids, MI location Cornerstone University is seeking a core team of experienced faculty or course designers to create online courses for a novel online business program. We are seeking year-round subject matter experts to develop online courses specifically in the following areas: • Intro to Global Business • Statistics for Managers • Consumer Behavior • Operations and Supply Chain Management • Business Technology • College Mathematics • Strategic Business Foundations • Communications Successful candidates will: • Have the education and experience necessary to meet accreditation expectations for the selected discipline. • Have completed a Masters degree or terminal degree, with a minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience. Examples include PhD, DBA, MBA, or masters in business. • Collaborate with program administration and instructional designers to create engaging, high-quality online courses. • Share our love for online teaching with excellence! • Design course content, assessments, and learning materials aligned with program goals. • Incorporate multimedia elements, interactive features, and real-world examples. • Incorporate a robust and integrative Christian worldview throughout. • Adhere to tight deadlines and regular submissions. Essential Qualifications: • Candidates will be asked if they are authorized to work in the US. • The successful candidate will demonstrate a commitment to excellence in teaching their discipline with a Christian Worldview. • Podcasting or other script development experience preferred. • Each candidate must have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, be active in a local church and espouse a theology that supports the values and mission of Cornerstone University as evidenced by fully affirming the university’s doctrinal statement, “The Cornerstone Confession”. Salary and Next Steps: $65,000 - $90,000 for year-round engagement. Actual salaries offered will be commensurate with faculty credentials, field of study, and relevant experience.
